This bike is and has been a continuing platform for our R&D in Adventure Touring accessories and modifications. We ride and use the products sold here.
I have been servicing and maintaining BMW motorcycles, exclusively since 1981, when I came back from BMW Germany, with my factory certificate, here in the Calgary area. Through those years of service, I have witnessed a lot regarding accessories and maintenance.
I have always wanted a bike which I could feel comfortable riding anywhere in the world, for any length of time. I have designed & engineered this bike for some serious riding, as well made every effort to maintain high reliability and ease of maintenance under severe conditions.
Here is the list of additional mods done since it's inception in 1999.

I have enjoyed approximately 33,000 Kms. of great riding since we first completed it 5 years ago. I have taken it to Baja MX twice and up to Alaska & the Yukon, and do have a better idea as to what accessories work and don't work. I am presently prepping the bike for it's 3 trip into Mexico. It is a very sweet ride.
